For the 11th time, Engelberg’s business community will put its best foot forward with its Business and Commerce Show. With their slogan „Our town, our commerce“, 33 local entrepreneurs will exhibit their products and provide information about their services.

| 4. Titlis Fire Ride – the longest torchlight descent in the world;

Be part of he longest torchlight descent of the world, which will cover a stretch of 12 km (from Titlis down to Engelberg) with an altitude difference of 2,000 meters! Enthusiasts and experienced skiers & boarders are welcome to participate in keeping this world record! Program

| 5. Easter Concert; 12 April 2009
George Kolesov (cello) and Tatiana Kolesova (piano) are masters of music. The siblings have received numerous accolades and have performed for distinguished audiences around the world including France, China and Japan. In Engelberg the Russian duo will play a repertoire ranging from Schumann to Chopin. Time & place: Barocksaal in the Engelberg Monastery;

| 6. International Oldtimer Ice Hockey Tournament:
17 – 19 April 2009
Notable teams will once again be participating in the traditional Senior Team Ice Hockey Tournament. In addition to the leading Swiss teams from Kloten and Geneva-Servette, teams from other countries will participate, too. The tournament organizers are doing their best to convince teams from Germany, Spain, Hungary and Russia to join the line-up. In mid-April, Engelberg will be in the spotlight for ice hockey. See for yourself how the oldtimers prove that they can still show the ‚youngsters’ a thing or two! |  |
