Via Ferrata Brunnistöckli 2'030 m (with two routes)
Hängebrücke
Special features: The via ferrata over the Brunnistöckli can be used as a trial run or as an introduction to the sport. The short approach with barely 200 metres difference in altitude is no problem, and the two hanging bridges offer a special experience. A worthwhile climb in combination with the Rigidalstock via ferrata. Enthusiasm grows with every step. Route very suitable for families and beginners.
Dangers: Storms!
Departure Point:

Engelberg / Brunni - Ristis cable car
Top station of Brunni chair lift (1,860 m)

Walk-in: From the top station of the chair lift by the Brunni SAC (Swiss Alpine Club) Hut, take the way-marked path in a south-easterly direction to Törli, there turn left to the starting point of the climb. Cable and iron rung protection over two hanging bridges to Schonegg.

Zittergrat “ The Quaking Ridge“ (difficult Fixed-Rope Route)
Special characteristics:

This new short route known as “ Zittergrat ” is an addition to the present Brunnistöckli . Climbing enthusiasts are offered a chance here to venture into a very steep, exposed via ferrata . Even the approach is in the vertical and is followed by a transverse ledge over a roof. Upper arms are put to the test Then there is again a slightly overhanging passage just under the exit.
The route is suitable as a preparation for the via ferratas at Fürenwand and Graustock . Strong upper arms a definite advantage!

Descent: From Schonegg via the white-blue-white way-markings back to the Brunni Hut.
Duration: Ascent: 1 hour, descent ¼ hour.
Altitude difference: 200 metres
Equipment: Complete via ferrata climbing equipment, helmet
