The Rigidalstock is fast becoming a favorite climbers’ destination. This northern summit provides climbers with some exciting ascent/descent variations, including unique passages with a cave (Eagle eye) hole and, of course, sensational mountain landscape and formations along the way.
The Rigidalstock via ferratas climb can be done in combination with the via ferratas at Brunnistöckli or Zittergrat.
Only the via ferrata Rigidalstockgrat (east) is suitable for novice climbers. Beginners must follow this route for both the ascent and descent.

Ascent: 3 - 3½ h from Brunnihütte Lodge incl. approach via mountain path Descent: 1½ h to Brunnihütte Lodge incl. via ferrata and moutnain path
