As the largest ski resort in Central Switzerland, Engelberg has plenty of slopes for both experienced and inexperienced skiers and snowboarders, as well as a wide range of off-piste attractions.
Summer & Winter
Ski & Snowboard
Brunni - the sunny side of Engelberg
Enjoy 7 kilometers of well-prepared trails and the sunniest slopes for skiing and snowboarding in Central Switzerland on the brunni. Psst! A little secret: black-marker Schonegg-Piste offers one of the prettiest views of the mountains surrounding Engelberg.
The Yeti Park is a kids’ adventure park situated just behind the Bergrestaurant Ristis at the cableway mountain station. Two magic carpets and two pony lifts transport families comfortably and effortlessly up the slope.
Globis Winterland - Klostermatte
Klostermatte is the perfect area for beginners. There are two lifts and a large children’s area with magic carpet conveyors. Convenient, too: Come by auto or bus and you and your children get out directly at the Kinderland entrance.
During winter season there’s night skiing every Friday evening from 6.00 p.m until 9.00 p.m. on the Klostermatte slope. The Restaurant Ox, which was built in 2013, and Restaurant Ristis are both open for this popular activity.
