Skitours & Freeride
The Chaiserstuel is an easy-to-reach peak with great views.
The route starts at the Urnerstafel above Fulenwasser and Gfrörni and leads to the hut at Gruen Boden. Next, it follows the shallow rib to Schoneggeli. The route then takes a north to north-westerly direction over the narrow, corniced ridge right up to the summit.
The descent follows the same route as the ascent. But remember to take in the fabulous views before plunging back down through the snow!
Safety tips for off-piste skiing
Please note that you are skiing at your own risk!
It is essential to carefully plan a skitour. Base your planning on maps, and make sure you listen to the avalanche warning service and the weather report.
The safety equipment and clothing are essential safety factors.
Anyone skiing off piste needs avalanche equipment (avalanche search equipment, probe, avalanche shovel, First Aid kit)
The skiing and mountain guides are familiar with the spots and terrain and ensure that you safely reach your summit and then back home.
