Denise Feierabend

Discipline:

Alpine ski racing (retired in 2018)

Date of birth:

15 April 1989

Hobbies:

biking, hiking and cross-country skiing

Greatest success:

winning gold as part of the mixed team at the 2018 Olympics

After achieving her greatest triumph ever in the 2018 Olympics, Denise retired from ski racing. But she will still regularly be found on the slopes of Engelberg. “My favourite place to sit is the terrace of the Bärghuis Jochpass. Being in the mountains brings me peace and reenergises me.”

Bärghuis Jochpass: Tired legs recover quickly here, 2,222 metres above sea level. The attentive team at the Bärghuis takes good care of its guests. You can sit out on the terrace like Denise Feierabend likes to do, or head for the restaurant or the rustic “Gadä” bar. But be warned: this is such a great place to put your feet up, you might never put them down again! www.jochpass.ch
