The Bord-Bahn can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes from the village center. (Train station - monastery - Wydenstrasse - Kilchbüel or via Grottenweg) The train goes up to Unteren Bord, from where you can hike comfortably in 30 minutes to Flühmatt or in 45 minutes up to Ristis.

Mountainrestaurant Ristis
High above Engelberg lies the Ristis mountain restaurant with a large sun terrace. Here you can expect culinary delicacies with cultivated service and a breathtaking panorama with a view of Titlis, Spannörter and Hahnen. In addition to the restaurant, the Ristis offers various activities for the family. Next to the summer toboggan run and the Winter Yet Park there is a large adventure playground with a rope park, milking cow and Globi's wild water world.

Restaurant Flühmatt
