national Winter Symposium

in Intensive Care Medicine

We are very pleased to invite you to the 30th International Winter Symposium in Intensive Care Medicine, which takes place from January 26 to January 31, 2025 at the Kursaal Engelberg in Engelberg, Switzerland.

The aim of the symposium is to review recent advances in intensive care and emergency medicine in a comprehensive manner for intensive care medicine physicians. It is an excellent time to review its impact on our specialty, the way we treat our patients and communicate worldwide. The main topics will be focussed on Impact of clinical trials on practice during the last 25 years, Endothelial dysfunction and shock, Cardiac - endovascular and CNS infections, Reassessing lung functions and ARDS, Acute kidney injury update, Endocrinology for the intensivist, Transfusion strategies in the ICU and Rehabilitation during and after the ICU. Furthermore, we would like to underline the importance of the familiar and friendly environment of the Winter Symposium.
