Alpine Cheese Trail E-Bike Stage Brunni

Engelberg-Titlis Tourismus Verified partner
The route starts at the monastery's demonstration cheese dairy. With a steady incline from the beginning, the route follows Schwandstrasse towards Waldegg and Schwand. The more altitude you gain on the paved road, the fewer cars you encounter. Between Waldegg and Schwand, you often ride through forest-protected, shaded sections of road. From the height of Schwand, where Restaurant Schwand invites you to a stop, the view opens to the mountain panorama in the direction of Titlis. From Spisboden over Steghalten to Bränd, there is no section without an incline on the paved path, and the e-bike motor is a welcome support. Shortly before Ristis, you pass Alp Langenboden, which can be visited either on the outbound or return journey. Upon reaching Ristis, the last section leads around the Ristis-Brunni chairlift in a few meters to Alp Hüttismatt. Return to Engelberg the same way or alternatively from Spisboden via Heg/Bergli/Fellenrüti.
Please note that depending on weather conditions (snow cover), not all alpine dairies are staffed in June and from mid-October the alpine pastures are no longer tended.
