The walk starts at Engelberg station and leads right through the village to the Engelberger Aa. Just below the Sportingpark, the bridge crosses the river and onto the Professorenweg. From there, you walk with the Engelberger Aa on your left and the forest edge on your right on the flat path all the way to the Sporthotel Eienwäldli where you can first recharge. The path changes river side and follows the road to the Fürenalptal station, the endpoint of the walk.
Back to the village either by the free Sportbus (check the timetable) or along the Schweizerhausstrasse past the Restaurant Wasserfall and across the Klostermatte to the Engelberg monastery.
