Seven Springs

The Seven Springs Path is perfect for your Sunday walk. You will be treated to the sound of bubbling springs and outstanding scenery.
This very short and leisurely hike in Engelberg in the canton of Obwalden leads from the Klostermatte over Kilchbühlstrasse up to the "Seven Springs".
Once at the top, you can listen to the fresh spring water bubbling and enjoy the wonderful view of the village of Engelberg and the Urner Alps.
The starting point of the route is at the Engelberg train station. From here, walk a short distance through the village; when you have the monastery church in front of you, you must turn left. Along the cemetery, walk about 100 meters uphill and then across the wide Klostermatte.
Shortly you will reach the Seven Springs Path; this leads you along the stream where fresh alpine water emerges in the shade of beautiful deciduous trees, down to the valley station of the Brunni cable cars.
