The starting point is the valley station of the TITLIS mountain railways. From there it goes along the Engelberger Aa, past the Sportingpark to the bridge, which leads to the Hotel & Restaurant Bänklialp. Continue up the road until a signpost leads to the hiking trail. Follow the path through a magical snow-covered forest. Away from the hustle and bustle you can relax and enjoy the winter landscape. The hike takes about an hour until the smell of a hot chocolate slowly rises into your nose. The Restaurant Gerschnialp invites you to a hot drink and is a good place for a stop on your tour. After your toes and fingers have warmed up, you continue for about a quarter of an hour to the Gerschnialp mountain station. The little ski stars can be observed on their first ski attempts along the ski slopes. Arriving at the top station, the funicular takes you down to Engelberg.

Author’s recommendation
