The Berglodge Ristis is supplied with CO2-neutral electricity, partly solar power. Energy used for heating is compensated with Myclimate. The Buiding was completely renovated in summer 2019. In addition to 220 indoor and 250 outdoor seats and seven guest rooms with a total of 41 beds, investments were made in a photovoltaic system on the roof. These have now been awarded this week with the Swiss Solar PrizeDiploma 2021.

The Hotel Crystal meets its electricity needs with its own solar power and hydropower. Heating and hot water are provided by a groundwater heat pump. A solar power system is installed on the roof, which covers nearly 100% of the hotel’s electricity needs on very sunny days. The share of solar energy generated on-site at the Hotel Crystal accounts for about 10% of its annual energy needs.
