Winter hiking trails
The Engelberg region, with more than 70 km of winter hiking trails, is a paradise for winter hikers. The well-prepared trails lead through snow-covered forests and landscapes. Enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the Alps, the fresh mountain air and the sweet sound of snow crunching under your feet.
Panorama route Fürenalp

Engelberg-Titlis Tourismus Verified partner
The approximately two-kilometer-long panorama winter hiking route on the Fürenalp invites you to relax away from the winter hustle with a fantastic view. The red 8-person gondola takes hikers from the valley station to the Fürenalp mountain station, where the winter hiking route starts. It is pleasantly walkable with a slight incline. The view of the surrounding mountain world such as Spannort, Hahnen, and Titlis, which impressively tower into the sky, is even more impressive from here. On a day with blue skies, the camera can hardly stay in the bag. Back at the mountain station, a stop at the mountain restaurant Fürenalp is worthwhile. Let yourself be pampered on the sun terrace or in the cozy restaurant by the restaurant team. The return to the valley is again by gondola.
